Laguna Phuket, in collaboration with Thalang District, successfully staged the inaugural “Laguna Phuket Sunset Beach Run 2026”, marking a new milestone for beachside sporting events in Phuket. Held along the scenic Bang Tao Beach, the event was officially opened by Ms. Wilailak Rueangphon, Chief District Officer of Thalang, and welcomed an enthusiastic turnout of over 500 runners, both Thai and international.
Set against the island’s iconic sunset backdrop, the event transformed Bang Tao Beach into a vibrant runway for both fitness enthusiasts and lifestyle seekers. At the heart of the experience was XANA Beach Club, a chic beachfront venue that served as the central hub for race activities – from the start line through to the post-race celebrations. A defining highlight saw runners crossing the finish line during the golden hour, bathed in warm, glowing hues, before continuing the evening with an exclusive beachside gathering.
The event was further energised by a dynamic line-up of partners and on-site experiences, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout.
