"SAVE THE WORLD" FOR EARTH DAY 2008
 |
This Earth Day, Banyan Tree Gallery introduces the new “Save the World” collection to help raise awareness of environmental conservation. |
The new series features a unique design showcasing animals, with a focus on endangered species, such as the panda, elephant, shark, gazelle, green sea turtle and manta ray across a world map.
Reinforcing the need to conserve and protect our natural environment, Banyan Tree Gallery will contribute 2% of total sales revenue generated from the “Save the World” collection from April to June 2008 to the Green Imperative Fund (GIF).
The GIF provides financial support to worthy environmental initiatives and community-based projects, such as saving endangered marine turtles in the Indian Ocean and Andaman Sea, regenerating coral reefs in the Maldives, preserving rainforests and wildlife in Bintan and protecting the wetlands in Seychelles.
