Phuket Bids Farewell to MD James Batt

 Phuket turned out in droves to bid farewell to Laguna Phuket Managing Director James Batt and his family at a party held recently at Laguna Beach Resort. Among the luminaries were Phuket Governor Udomsak Usawarangkura; Pongpayome Vasaputi, Director-General of the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department, and former Phuket Governor; Dr. Prasit Koysiripong, former Phuket Provincial Administration Organization President; Phummisak Hongsyok, Phuket Real Estate Club President and former Mayor of Phuket Town; Gulu Lalvani, Chairman of international telecoms company Binatone and developer of the Royal Phuket Marina; and John Magee, Publisher of the Phuket Gazette.
