Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket hosts lunchoen for The Good Shepherd SistersMedia Release Phuket, Thailand - The executive management team of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket recently hosted a lunchoen and fun activities for 70 unpriviliged burmese children, under the shelter of the Good Shepherd Sisters at Sire port, Phuket town as part of their ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project. Their efforts included making a donation to help provide language and vocational skills, health outreach program and additional opportunities to the people in need. In addition, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket’s Executive Chef Silvano Amolini will be one of the chefs for a ‘Six of the Best’ charity gala dinner held annually in aid of Thailand’s unprivileged women and children since 2010. The Good Shepherd Sisters is a learning center for migrants which has seven branches in Thailand. Lately, the organization has been running an anti-trafficking program to support, provide care and counselling to victims of human trafficking, as well as those with HIV (or AIDS).
