Laguna Phuket Roadshow 2008

During 14-16 May 2008, Laguna Phuket sales representatives hit the road and traveled to meet with travel agents, corporate clients and members of the media to introduce a horde of new developments that have taken place at the resort complex recently.

Among the new developments announced was the Angsana Resort, which will be the latest addition to the Laguna Phuket hotel repertoire. This project expects to commence in late 2008. New luxury private villas including the DoublePool Villas at the Banyan Tree Phuket and the Pool Villas at the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket were also presented.

The reception in all three visited destinations; Singapore, Hong Kong and New Delhi, was immense. Hundreds of invited guests attended the cocktail parties, meeting with representatives from the Laguna Phuket hotels and the Laguna Phuket Golf Club.

Fabulous prizes were given out at each event, consisting of accommodation at the Laguna Phuket hotels, rounds of golf at the Laguna Phuket Golf Club, spa treatments at the Banyan Tree Spa and Angsana Spas and sightseeing and cultural tours operated by Laguna Tours. The grand prize of each evening was a two-nights’ stay in a luxurious Banyan Tree DoublePool Villa at the Banyan Tree Phuket and spa treatments for two at the Banyan Tree Spa.

Winners of the grand prize were: Shirley Liau of Asia-Euro Holidays (Singapore), Hedda Fung of Pepsico International (Hong Kong) and Avinash Gupta of Platinum (New Delhi).
