Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket celebrates first Dusit Charity Cup 2011

Phuket, Thailand 22 August 2011 - Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket held its first charitable bowling tournament on last Saturday, 20 August 2011 at CS Bowling, Big C Phuket. This successful event was a social meeting point of collegaues in the hospitality industry, as well as their families, phuket residents to participate.

Proceeds from this event go towards the ongoing Dusit Smailes – Operation Smile Thailand programme. This wordwide organisation mobilises medical professionals to provide safe and effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities, such as cleft lip and cleft palate.

Mrs. Natalie presented The Governor’s Cup trophies to the winners at the award ceremony. The winning team from Eakkarat Construction company comprised Mr. Sunai, Mr. Pongpan and Mr Somkeat at the scored 1,420 points total, For men's leagues winner were Mr Sunai Charoenpol at the highest scored of 520 and women's leagues ; Ms Sivarak Pongsanont from Banyantree Spa, at the highest scored of 480.
