Laguna Phuket Summer Family Festival Ablaze with Fun and Games
After getting off to a fiery start, the Laguna Phuket Summer Family Festival is blazing with daily action-packed fun and entertainment until 27 August.
The annual Family Festival at Canal Shopping Village opened on 25 June with a spectacular launch party involving games from the team at Quest Adventure, a performance by teenage rock band The Screaming Hypocrites of the British International School and a thrilling fire display by Italian performance artist Greta Caponnetto.
Every day until 27 August there’s afternoon supervised adventure activities with Quest Adventure’s Kidz Zone and evening entertainment with a Kidzsole Flying Trapeze and barbeque beer tent with live big screen sports broadcasts, as well as clown and magic shows.
There’s a Beatles Party and grand closing party on 27 August with special entertainment and contest prizes. From 18 July onwards Australian artist Christopher Hogan will be Artist-in-Residence with art classes; and Greta Caponnetto will give Circus Skills lessons.

The Family Festival also offers a variety of benefits until 31October that includes free dining for kids aged 12 and under at all seven Laguna Phuket hotels; free kids golf when playing with a full-paying adult; free speedboat tours for kids to Naka and Khai islands; daily Kidz Fun Zone activities (until 22 August) with the first session free; free evening Kidz Lounges at all hotels, open 6-10pm; free tennis for in-house guests; and free extra bed for kids aged 12 and under
Laguna Phuket has fundraised more than 1 million baht over the past 15 years to support local sea turtle release research programs.
