Laguna Phuket Announces New MICE Venue, Latitude

Laguna Phuket is planning to launch a permanent 1000sqm marquee to hold spectacular events within its deluxe integrated resort. Designed to offer an all weather and fully air conditioned venue the structure will have capacity to accommodate up to 1000 guests and will be built on a 1500sqm concrete floor to allow for expansion. Its modular design allows freedom to configure the space to suit all needs making it an
ideal venue for large and smaller meetings and incentive groups.

Laguna Phuket expects to see the aptly named ‘Latitude’ fully operational in the second quarter of 2009. It will be centrally located within Laguna Phuket in the park opposite Canal Shopping Village by the lagoon that separates the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket and Laguna Beach Resort - perfectly placed to enable stunning entrances by water via the resort’s network of waterways. The surrounding grounds will be beautifully
landscaped and will complement the natural aesthetics in Laguna Phuket.

Creative and Events teams at the resort are busy conjuring a palette of innovative themes, ranging from magical Thai Mythology evenings, using the resort’s lagoons, lush vegetation and sunsets as a backdrop to more sociably responsible conferencing initiatives to offer to groups who want to book an event with entertainment impact, and not environmental. These plans will be unveiled shortly and packaged to distribute via the sales executives throughout Laguna Phuket’s hotels.
