Australia’s celebrity chef, Ben O’Donoghue, debuts at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket
Phuket, Thailand – Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket invites Australia’s celebrity chef, Mr. Ben O’Donoghue, to the resort, bringing Thailand a truly exciting and entertaining Australian culinary experience.
One of Australia’s favourite celebrity chefs, Mr. O’Donoghue has devoted himself to the culinary arts since youth. This passion has never failed to bring him pleasure nor ceased to stimulate his imagination. His career began in working at prestige Australian restaurants, such as the Tribeca and Goodfellas of Sydney and Jessica’s in Perth, which eventually brought his path to London.
His natural talent escalated him to the position of Executive Chef at the renowned Atlantic Bar & Grill. With the unique seasonal menu he created, he was able to help the company be contracted to open the National Dining Room at the National Gallery. Mr. O’Donoghue is now the Creative Director of Food for the Great Australian Pie Company in the UK. He is also known from the popular Australian TV series The Best and Surfing the Menu. Moreover, he was invited as the food judge for Lifestyle Food’s recent Great BBQ Challenge series, and has also appeared in both BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and Planet Food. He is a columnist for Delicious magazine and has also released a cookbook in October 2008, called Outdoor: Grill Your Way Round the World.
