Banyan Tree Phuket Employee Wins Thailand National Bartender Contest

Phuket, Thailand, November 2008 – Following his ‘Oriental Spice’ cocktail which has won a number of bartender awards, Khun Noom [middle] is now recognized as the Winner of Thailand Bartender Contest among the 48 contestant in Thailand. The Contest recently held at Siam Paragon with Thai new
signature cocktail ‘Siam Sun Rise’. “The events this year made a very impression to all Thais and foreigner participants, it shows the good sign to the world that Thailand is ready to welcome the tourist with the responsible drink concept’ said Mr. Veerask Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sports who joined this contest. Khun Noom will be the representative from Thailand to participate the World Bartender Contest in London early next year.

Heralded as a growing art of bartending business, Khun Noom has been contributed over his weekend as an instructor to the further success of bartending education and the alternative activities among youths apart from his practicing of 5 hours a day. Khun Noom said, ‘joining the Banyan Tree Phuket where is not only business organization but social responsibility culture has been imbued his world vision on how his knowledge can be contributed and inspired to the youthful generation’
