The Laguna Phuket Summer Family Festival explodes into action again this year with another four-month carnival of spectacular fun, extra benefits and added value for all Laguna hotel guests.

Designed to satisfy both parents and kids, the Laguna Phuket Summer Family Festival offers a daily Kidz Fun Zone program and is followed by casual evenings of family entertainment featuring a BBQ Beer Tent (operates daily from Sat 25 June – Sat 27 August) which will televise major international sports events including Wimbledon tennis and Formula One races.

In addition, live music, Quiz nights and other entertainment are offered, including a bouncy castle for the little ones, evening Kidz Lounge with age-appropriate movies to keep the young ones occupied while parents relax with Happy Hour bar prices and barbecue fare in the Festival Beer Tent centrally located within Laguna Phuket.

Kids Fun Zone, Part of the Laguna Summer Family Festival, Offers Fun for Kids of All Ages

25 June - 27 August, 2-5pm daily
The popular Kidz Fun Zone, professionally operated by Quest Laguna Phuket Adventure, offers daily afternoon (2-5pm) activities during the Summer Family Festival, including Wacky Games, Kids vs Wild, Sports Skills, Little Chefs, Treasure Hunts, Green Planet, Wet 'n' Wild, Mission: Fun, Castaways, Splash Jungle, Bowling Bonanza and Adventure Antics - for just THB200 per session, with a free introductory session for Laguna hotel guests.

These activities are also available to non-Laguna guests and Phuket residents.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

18 July - 27 August 2011
Internationally renowned Australian artist Christopher Hogan will again be Artist-in-Residence at this year's Laguna Phuket Summer Family Festival with a programme of daily art classes and tutorials.

Christopher, a specialist in marine-themed abstract paintings, will hold afternoon art classes at the Festival site in Canal Village Shopping Centre, and is scheduled to hold morning tutorials around the resort's luxury hotel properties.

KIDZSOLE FLYING TRAPEZE

25 June - 27 August 2011, 5pm (except Wednesdays)
Now everyone can "fly" on the KidzSole Flying Trapeze at the Summer Family Festival!

With careful tuition, kids and adults alike learn trapeze skills and gain the confidence to experience the thrill of flying through the air. No special talent is required, but after just a few lessons Flyers can be confident enough to fly to the arms of a catcher and complete the famous "Catch".
