XANA with Attica, Phuket’s first real beach club, is launching its new event Lazy Sundayz with an Aussie BBQ created by travelling chef, Angus Adams.
From 12.30pm – 9.30pm this Easter Sunday 31st March, chef Angus, alongside XANA’s head chef Mirko Cappa, will be serving traditional Australian dishes with a modern twist, right on Bangtao beach.
The Australian BBQ has the long-standing tradition of being one of world’s laziest. Serving all day long, this Sunday there will be a full BBQ, which will include marinated and skewered meats (chicken and beef) and seafood (shrimps, scallops, lobster, snapper, crab and squid), accompanied by delicious condiments – from beer onions to tomato chutney and whisky sauce.
The menu also includes an Oyster Bar with unique touches, including Bloody Mary oyster shots, and a Sashimi Counter of yellow fin tuna and salmon. Mains will be accompanied by some sumptuous salads – from potato salad with capers, bacon and horseradish sauce and a salmon salad with toasted almonds and dill yogurt dressing. A full range of delicious deserts will be available including smashed Pavlova, trifle and kiwi salad.
The BBQ is priced 1,490 baht per person and includes one Singha beer or red / white house wine. Entertainment on the day will be provided by pool-side DJs, and not forgetting Easter – at 3pm there will be an Easter egg hunt for the kids.
